Ingredients

  • 200g smoked trout fillets
  • Mixed salad greens (arugula or lamb's lettuce)
  • Green apple (sliced thinly) or walnuts
  • Extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper

Utensils

  • Salad bowl
  • Small jar (for the dressing)
  • Knife and cutting board

Preparation

  1. Prep the fish: Tear or cut the smoked trout into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Make the vinaigrette: Shake olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a jar until emulsified.
  3. Assemble: Toss the greens and apple/walnuts in the bowl. Top with the trout and drizzle with the dressing just before serving.
